Job summary

Gemini is seeking a Lead, Technical Compliance in New York to drive AI-enabled automation across the Compliance program, overseeing transaction monitoring data ingestion, new monitoring scenarios, and customer risk scoring models.

You will collaborate with engineers, product, data, legal, and information security to translate regulatory requirements into scalable AI solutions, strengthen sanctions controls, and ensure governance, testing, and auditability across systems.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or international equivalent.
• 7+ years of compliance technology and data analysis in financial services, digital assets, or related spaces.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with AI-enabled automation or agentic AI workflows.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical designs and criteria.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
• Authorized to work in the United States; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-enabled automation design and implementation within the Compliance Program.
• Develop and tune transaction monitoring scenarios and data ingestion.
• Build and maintain customer risk scoring models and sanctions controls.
• Create real-time data and reporting solutions using Python/SQL.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data, Legal, and InfoSec teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
• Establish governance, testing, oversight, data protection, and documentation for AI solutions.
