Job summary

Gemini is seeking a Lead, Technical Compliance in the United States to modernize AML/BSA/Sanctions with AI and automation. You will steer AI-enabled workflows, supervise transaction monitoring data ingestion, and optimize customer risk scoring.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or international equivalent.
• 7+ years of compliance technology and data analysis experience in financial services or related spaces.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills are required.
• Databricks and PySpark experience is a plus.
• Experience building AI-enabled automation and agentic AI workflows.
• Ability to translate regulatory needs into technical designs and acceptance criteria.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and clear business communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-enabled automation and agentic AI workflows across the Compliance Program.
• Develop and tune transaction monitoring scenarios and customer risk scoring models.
• Enhance sanctions controls and maintain sanctions screening tools with regulatory updates.
• Build real-time data and reporting solutions using Python or SQL.
• Integrate external tools and support enterprise AML/BSA risk assessments.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, analysts to deliver scalable AI solutions.
