Job summary

Gemini in New York City seeks a Manager, Compliance (Governance) to drive governance operations, policy review cycles, risk assessments, and testing programs. You will lead AML/Sanctions work and advance reporting quality, while applying AI tools to improve processes.

This role partners with senior stakeholders, supports cross-functional teams, and requires strong communication, with hybrid in-office days at hub locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; J.D. or relevant advanced degree a plus.
• 6+ years of compliance experience, including complaints handling or second-line testing.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory expectations re BSA/AML and Sanctions compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to utilize AI tools with sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Support and mature the compliance governance framework, including policy review cycles and escalation protocols.
• Prepare materials for governance committees and annual risk assessment.
• Identify AI/automation opportunities to enhance complaint handling and reporting.
• Oversee AML quality assurance and risk-based testing plans.
