Job summary

Broadview FCU is seeking a Senior Cyber Defense Engineer/Analyst to lead the evaluation, deployment, and tuning of cyber defense tools, including AI security capabilities. The role partners with the VP to ensure timely risk identification and remediation across AI-enabled systems and on-prem/cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has over 10 years in cyber defense, strong reporting skills, and experience applying NIST CSF and RMF concepts to regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 10+ years in cyber defense, security engineering, or security analytics with senior tooling responsibility.
• Hands-on with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, IAM, cloud security tooling.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, 800-53 concepts, and risk-based control monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead selection, deployment, tuning, and lifecycle management of cyber defense tools, including AI security risks.
• Develop monitoring and reporting for AI security risks aligned with NIST AI RMF and governance.
• Create dashboards and metrics for threat detection, incident response, and control effectiveness.
• Collaborate with AI governance, IT, and business owners to ensure secure AI-enabled systems throughout their life cycle.
