Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the next generation AI system responsible for automating the insurance quoting and service experience. You will own AI agents and backend workflows, shaping prompt engineering and production-grade automation.

You will evaluate emerging AI tech, collaborate with OpenAI on voice models, and drive efficient, scalable automation across our auto, home, and lifestyle verticals. A builder mindset and 5+ years in software are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering
• Builder at heart who writes own specs
• Experience putting LLM-based systems into production
• Familiarity with evals, regressions, latency and cost in production

Responsibilities

• Own AI agents and automation system (front end and backend)
• Evaluate emerging AI tech and decide investments
• Collaborate with OpenAI to deploy next-gen voice models and workflow automation
