Jerry.ai in the United States seeks a senior software engineer to own the AI & automation platform, delivering end-to-end automations for insurance quoting and customer support. You will shape the architecture, build with TypeScript, GraphQL, and AWS, and drive production deployments of LLM-based workflows.

You will evaluate new AI tech, partner with OpenAI for voice models, and work in a remote-first environment with strong equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience deploying LLMS-based systems to production, including evals, latency, cost, and failure handling.
• Ability to reason about architecture and trade-offs for AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI agents and automation system, including frontend and backend components.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and decide what to invest in next.
• Partner with OpenAI to deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation.
