Job summary

EY seeks an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement memory architectures for multi-agent systems within enterprise AI. You will lead a team of AI Architects, defining context systems, RAG and semantic search, and guide integration frameworks across platforms.

The role requires deep expertise in AI frontier models, memory architectures, and model fine-tuning, with a drive for scalable, practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in EE/CS/Math.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiar with AI native tools and code assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.).
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understand AI Native design processes and principles.
• Deep understanding of model fine tuning and context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with CI/CD and collaboration tools (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native designs.
• Design context systems including RAG and semantic search.
• Implement and test architectures benchmarking performance against AI evals.
• Create replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures across systems.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI-native design process.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra teams for balanced outcomes.
• Support strategic business development for emerging tech as needed.
• Present at academic conferences and support IP filings.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead a group of experts in building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
