Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement memory architectures, context systems, and data fabrics for complex enterprise AI use cases. You will lead a team of AI architects, shaping scalable, multi-agent knowledge systems and responsible for pre/post training and model synthesis considerations.

You will collaborate across AI, security, data and infrastructure to ensure practical outcomes, mentor engineers, and contribute to IP filings.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Use of AI-native software development tools / code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understand AI-native design process and principles.
• Deep understanding of model fine-tuning and customization through context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with CI/CD, IDEs, Git hosting (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native designed systems.
• Design context systems including RAG and Skills with semantic chunking and search.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmarking performance against AI and human evals.
• Develop replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures across systems.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI-native design processes.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra teams for practical outcomes.
• Support business development for emerging technology as needed.
• Present at academic conferences and contribute to IP filings.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead a team building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
