Job summary

Ellipsis Health, headquartered in Silicon Valley, seeks a core contributor and technical leader for the AI Research & Engineering team. You will drive the architecture and deployment of frontier agentic systems, translating breakthroughs in LLMs into robust clinical applications and production-ready services.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, platform teams, and clinical experts to ensure AI platforms operate safely and conform to healthcare protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/ML or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years software development with focus on scalable platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks.
• Proven track record deploying LLM-powered apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical roadmap for Agentic AI from research to production.
• Design scalable architectures and orchestration pipelines.
• Translate research into enterprise software with safe outputs.
• Build evaluation frameworks and continuous testing.
• Develop data pipelines from feedback and logs for fine-tuning.
• Collaborate with clinical and product teams to ensure safety.
• Mentor ML and software engineers to raise the bar.
