Evinova is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to design and implement agentic AI systems powering life sciences solutions. You will build autonomous agents that reason, plan, and act in clinical contexts, collaborating with product, clinical, and ML teams.

You will lead projects across LLM orchestration, multi-agent systems, and evaluation, contributing to publications, open-source work, and advanced AI architectures in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Hybrid work supported.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• 4+ years of experience in applied machine learning, with a strong focus on deep learning, NLP, and generative AI.
• Extensive prior experience exploring and testing language model behavior, prompting and building products with language models.
• Expert knowledge of Python and advanced ML/LLM frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Google ADK, Crewai, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g. SageMaker, Bedrock, MSK, EKS, ECS, OpenSearch).
• Deep understanding of agentic AI systems and frameworks (e.g. agentic design patterns, multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Design and deploy agentic AI solutions using state-of-the-art LLMs.
• Develop prompts, agent memory, tool use and multi-agent collaboration.
• Build NLP systems for retrieval, information extraction, and graph reasoning.
• Create automated techniques for design, evaluation, and optimization.
• Discover effective prompt engineering approaches for agentic systems.
• Build observability pipelines for continuous model and agent performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to translate AI capabilities into impactful healthcare solutions.
• Mentor engineers and shape AI strategy across the organization.
• Share expertise at conferences and through publications.
• Contribute to open-source projects and best practices in healthcare AI.
