Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. You will drive architectures for multiagent systems, authentication, and post-training environments, partnering with AI, Security, Data and Infra teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.

The role demands deep AI/ML expertise, 10+ years in software and AI, and ability to mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent systems and modern secrets management.
• Use of AI native development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, TypeScript) and languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Knowledge of AI Native design process and cryptographic identity/auth methods.
• Experience with IDEs, CI/CD, and modern code hosting (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design of control harness intelligence systems for multiagent setups.
• Architectures for agent identity and authentication at scale.
• Design post-training and tuning environments for agents.
• Develop synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and benchmark architectures against evals.
• Lead the design of AI Agent control frameworks.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI Native processes.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures and frontier models.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra teams for balanced outcomes.
• Support business development activities for emerging tech.
• Present at conferences and contribute to IP filings.
• Hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
• Lead a team of experts to build universal agentic control harnesses.
