EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. You will drive architectures for multi-agent systems, agent authentication, and post-training environments, while guiding tool usage and integration with open-source models.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, collaboration with AI, Security, and Data teams, and leadership of a high-caliber engineering team in a fast-paced, innovative setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in STEM field.
• 10+ years in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent systems and secrets management.
• Familiar with AI native tools and code assistants.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, TS) and Go/Rust/Java.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and modern IDEs.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness for AI agent systems and tooling.
• Architect identity and authentication for large-scale multi-agent systems.
• Develop post-training and tuning environments for agents.
• BenchMark architectures against agent and human evals.
• Lead a team of experts in universal agent control harnesses.
• Collaborate across AI, Security, Data and Infra domains.
