Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain architect experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. This role focuses on agent control including tool usage, state management, execution environment control, policy definition, and multiagent APIs.

You will design architectures for agent identity, authentication, post-training environments, synthesis models, and benchmarking.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, CS or Mathematics.
• 10+ years in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent systems and secrets management.
• Experience with AI-native development tools and code assistants.
• Familiarity with Python, Bash, TypeScript, Go, Rust and Java.
• Understanding of AI-native design processes and cryptographic identity/auth methods.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps and major AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness intelligence systems for multiagent platforms.
• Architect agent identity and authentication for large-scale systems.
• Design post-training and tuning environments.
• Develop synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and test architectures with agent and human evals.
• Create and drive universal AI agent control frameworks.
• Define agent design requirements and apply AI-native processes.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures and frontier models.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra teams to ensure balanced outcomes.
• Support business development for emerging tech; present at conferences.
• Hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
• Lead a team of experts in universal agentic control harnesses.
