Job summary

Ag-Pro Companies seeks an experienced Service Technician to diagnose and repair John Deere equipment and technology. You will mentor junior technicians, support customer clinics, and ensure accurate timekeeping and thorough work order documentation.

In this role you will operate and maintain field and shop tools, uphold safety standards, and stay current with John Deere and competitive products. A valid license is required and CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing service repairs; demonstrated experience meeting performance metrics preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and basic computer functions; experience using Service ADVISOR or similar tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.
• Conducts or supports customer clinics.
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Responsible for documentation of diagnostics and repairs and timely submittal of information.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities.
• Maintains a clean work area and follows safety rules.
