Job summary

arrivia is seeking a Principal Agentic Software Engineer to drive technical direction across multiple products and platforms while actively building core primitives. You will manage AI coding agents, define shared infrastructure, and influence the roadmap with cross‑organizational accountability.

You will mentor engineers, lead critical platform decisions, and shape standards for AI-powered development at scale, impacting millions of users and trusted travel experiences.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, recent software development experience in large-scale web apps.
• Expertise across full-stack development with modern JS frameworks and backend services.
• Proven ability to design RESTful APIs and distributed systems at scale.
• Strong cloud experience and container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience guiding engineering standards and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction across multiple products and platforms.
• Define prompt libraries, MCP server patterns, and code quality gates.
• Architect Model Context Protocol integrations for secure API access.
• Lead one-way-door decisions and establish modernization paths.
• Mentor engineers and shape technical-leadership norms.
