Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an experienced AI Engineer Lead to architect and deliver enterprise-scale agentic AI solutions powered by Claude. You will drive production-grade architectures, oversee multi-agent orchestration, and mentor teams across client engagements.

Our role emphasizes responsible AI, cloud-native data architectures, and hands-on delivery with Claude models through cloud platforms. Strong leadership and communication are essential as you guide projects from design through production.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering production AI/ML solutions, including 1+ year in production Generative AI or Agentic AI systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing AI/ML applications in Python.
• At least 1 year designing or implementing production agentic workflows (orchestration, tool integration, state management, evaluation, guardrails, human-in-the-loop).
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Claude Agent SDK (orchestrations, tool integrations, permissions).
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience deploying Anthropic Claude models via native API or cloud platforms.
• At least 1 year experience applying prompt/context engineering and related techniques to improve AI solutions.
• 2+ years leading, managing, delivering complex AI engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of AI solutions for client engagements.
• Own architecture of Claude-based generative AI and agentic solutions including RAG pipelines and memory/state patterns.
• Design cloud and hybrid data architectures to support Claude deployments.
• Build and govern LLMOps practices including evaluation, monitoring and guardrails.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and align delivery with business objectives.
• Oversee quality of deliverables and contribute hands-on when needed.
• Support practice growth through proposals and thought leadership.
• Coach practitioners transitioning to Generative AI work.
