Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Associate Manager, Integration and Test Engineering to lead afternoon/night shift test operations supporting aerospace integration and test activities across submodules, modules, instruments, and space vehicles.

The role requires front-line leadership of 15–20 technicians with strong collaboration with test engineers and manufacturing, plus travel up to 25% to support customer testing; eligibility for security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive compliance to safety, quality, test, and program requirements.
• Provide front-line leadership, supervision, coaching, and mentorship for 15–20 engineering technicians.
• Support daily test execution, technician coordination, scheduling, troubleshooting, issue escalation, and continuity across shifts.
• Support technical test engineering activities including test planning, procedure development, data review, and requirements verification.
• Collaborate with test engineers, manufacturing, chamber operations, program teams, customers, and support organizations to resolve issues.
• Develop and comply with test processes, standard work, procedures, and work instructions.
• Lead nonconformance documentation, RCA, corrective action, and disposition coordination.
• Lead department initiatives to improve safety, quality, execution, and employee engagement.
• Conduct 1-on-1 career counseling and performance reviews.
• Work with Human Resources on employee relations and corrective actions.
