Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Canoga Park, CA, is seeking a Lead Integration/Test Engineer to direct component testing across propulsion and missile-defense programs. You will craft test strategies, design equipment and fixtures, coach technicians, and ensure rigorous safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience (or 7+ with a graduate degree).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant engineering experience; graduate degree with at least 7 years is preferred.
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of engineering experience.
Experience planning and directing component testing across multiple test disciplines.

Responsibilities

Plan and direct component testing in pressure, water/gas flow, vibration, shock, spin, and pump tests.
Develop test operations methodologies with the operations team and internal customers.
Design test equipment, fixtures, and test systems.
Create and maintain test procedures, specifications, and schematics.
Direct test technicians, analyze results, and write test reports.
Oversee maintenance, repair, and procurement of test facilities and equipment.
Support process monitoring, metrics, and improvement projects.
Design and oversee fabrication of data acquisition systems and minor electronics.
