Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Texas seeks a Sr. Associate Systems Integration Test Engineer to perform systems test engineering tasks for aircraft modernization and new system integration. The role requires flexibility on shifts, travel, and a Top Secret/Secret clearance path.

Responsibilities include developing test procedures, integrating avionics, and verifying system performance across platforms. A Bachelor’s in engineering and relevant experience are required; FAA guidance and military standards

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering required; 2+ years aircraft systems test experience or 6+ years without a degree.
Experience supporting test, integration, verification, or validation for avionics, mission systems, or other complex electronics.
Ability to write test procedures and reports from requirements and standards.
Willingness to travel up to 50%, within the U.S. and potentially OCONUS.
Experience developing and executing test procedures, including SOVT.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute software quality methods, processes, and standards for product performance and compliance.
Write and implement test procedures and SOVT for avionics, cockpit, and mission systems.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support system integration and verification testing.
Read diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot hardware and system issues in lab or field settings.
