Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider leader to oversee APPs in the Sickle Cell and Blood Disorders Programs while maintaining an active inpatient clinical practice. The role includes scheduling, performance evaluations, and quality improvement across inpatient and outpatient settings.

This is a full-time, day-shift position with rotating coverage. Applicants should hold NP/PA credentials with Texas licensure, NCCPA, prescriptive authority,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or ARC-PA-accredited PA program.
• 3 years APP experience with increasing responsibility.
• Texas licensure for APN/PA with prescriptive authority; NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversees APP schedules for inpatient/outpatient care.
• Conducts annual performance evaluations of APP staff.
• Reviews safety events and clinical practice quality.
• Drives quality improvement initiatives within the APP program.
• Leads regular APP team meetings and coordinates CME opportunities.
• Participates in research protocols and evidence-based practice.
