UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Lead Advanced Practice Provider for the Sickle Cell Inpatient program. The role oversees APP coverage, mentors PAs and APRNs, and maintains an active inpatient clinical practice for benign hematologic disorders.

The candidate will provide leadership, clinical supervision, and participate in quality initiatives while collaborating with the Internal Medicine department. Veterans encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in nursing and Texas Board of Nursing authorization required.
• Graduate education aligned with clinical practice area and patient population.
• ARC-PA accreditation for PA pathway is acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Oversees inpatient and outpatient APP coverage and scheduling.
• Generates APP performance and productivity data for staff.
• Reviews APP deployment and identifies optimization opportunities.
• Conducts annual performance evaluations with leadership.
• Reviews safety events related to APP practice quality and safety.
• Contributes to quality improvement initiatives for APPs.
• Leads team meetings to resolve barriers to patient care.
• Promotes APP participation in CME opportunities.
• Delivers diagnostic and therapeutic care within scope and privileges.
• Documents examinations and develops care plans with data synthesis.
