Job summary

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to translate business outcomes into scalable designs across our streaming, DSP, and data platforms. You will guide product and engineering through architecture roadmaps, reference architectures, and ADRs, balancing speed, maintainability, and security while driving cost efficiency.

You will lead cloud-native initiatives (Kubernetes, microservices) and ensure governance, reliability, and privacy across buy-and-sell

Qualifications

10+ years in software architecture/engineering and leading distributed systems.
Experience designing ad serving and SSP platforms (premium video/CTV).
Strong knowledge of identity, privacy, and security patterns.

Responsibilities

Serve as the architecture interface between Product and Engineering across key platforms.
Produce Reference Architectures and ADRs balancing speed with maintainability.
Guide architecture roadmaps and align with business value and debt reduction.
Provide hands-on design leadership for cloud-native systems including SLOs, observability, and cost controls.
Shape data contracts, identity, consent, measurement, and interoperability across workflows.
Mentor teams and contribute to EA practices and artifacts.
