Job summary

Comcast’s FreeWheel Enterprise Architecture team seeks a seasoned architect to translate market needs into scalable, cloud-native designs across SSP, DSP, Identity and Measurement platforms. You will craft blueprints, ADRs, and roadmaps, guiding product and engineering toward reliable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to modernize architectures while protecting performance and security in a multi-cloud

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software architecture/engineering.
• 5+ years leading distributed, high-scale, low-latency systems (Go/Java/Scala, gRPC/REST, Kafka/Pub-Sub).
• Designed or led architectures for ad serving and SSP platforms (premium video/CTV).
• Practical grasp of identity & addressability and privacy patterns.

Responsibilities

• Serve as architecture interface between Product and Engineering for end-to-end solution designs.
• Produce Solution Blueprints, Reference Architectures, and ADRs.
• Guide Architecture Roadmaps and migration plans.
• Provide hands-on design leadership for cloud-native systems (Kubernetes, microservices).
• Shape standards for data contracts, identity, consent and interoperability.
• Advise on build/buy/extend strategies and de-risk delivery with PoCs.
