Overview

Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a Lead Administrative Receptionist to join their team.

The Lead Administrative Receptionist–Home Office is responsible for providing excellent customer service and public relations needed for quality communication and services to all customers. This key position serves as a conduit between the home office and 60+ sites, providing front desk security, stewarding the home office environment, and acting as an information resource for staff, visitors, website inquiries, and callers.

This is an in-person, on-site full-time position, located in Roseville, MN.

Reporting Structure

The Lead Administrative Receptionist–Home Office reports directly to the Home Office Executive Assistant/Front Desk Manager. The role includes providing direction and supervision to other receptionist staff, coordinating project requests from the Home Office Functional teams, and ensuring smooth communication and operations.

Responsibilities

The Lead Administrative Receptionist–Home Office is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and maintaining effective communication systems. This role acts as a conduit between the home office and over 60 communities, manages front desk security, and serves as an information resource for staff, visitors, website inquiries, and callers.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining effective communication with all customers and staff, fostering teamwork, and using proactive, positive language with active listening skills.
  • Serving as the lead and point person for the receptionist team, coordinating work, providing feedback, and assisting in onboarding new team members.
  • Creating a positive first impression by greeting customers warmly, demonstrating professionalism, and handling inquiries efficiently.
  • Maintaining a professional and safe environment by coordinating emergency procedures and understanding key programs and contacts.
  • Supporting other areas as needed to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Administrator; supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with office equipment and multi-functional devices; familiarity with audio/visual equipment is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Alignment with PHS's mission and values.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
Pay Range

The estimated starting pay is $21.93-$27.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and market conditions.
