Job summary

Lake Pointe Health Center is seeking an Activities Director to lead our activities team and bring engaging, resident-centered programs to life. The role is full time and salaried with competitive wages, PTO, and benefits. The director will oversee activity planning, staff supervision, and community engagement.

The ideal candidate has management experience in healthcare, CTRS certification, and the ability to collaborate across departments to meet residents' needs and rights.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of activity practices and long-term care regulations.
• Prior management or supervisory experience in healthcare preferred.
• Ability to make independent decisions and communicate effectively.
• Experience planning and coordinating a variety of activities.
• Must be willing to obtain/hold CTRS certification and maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate resident-centered activities.
• Involve residents in planning and advocate for their needs and rights.
• Attend meetings (resident council, family council, dept. head, etc.).
• Maintain records and reports related to activities.
• May participate in fundraising events.
• Foster relationships with community organizations and volunteers.
• Identify need for disciplinary action when required.
