Job summary

Providence PACE Oregon, Hillsboro is seeking a Lead Activities Aide to plan, organize, direct and participate in a broad program of recreational services for PACE participants. This on-site role supports elders to stay active and engaged through clinics, home visits and community activities.

Schedule: Monday–Friday Day shift. Qualifications include experience leading therapeutic group activities and a DHS background check as required by location; preferred: Bachelor's in Recreational Therapy or

Plans, organizes, directs, and participates in a broad program of recreational services appropriate for the participants of Providence PACE Tanasbourne site.

Required qualifications:

• In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check may be required for this position based upon the location of the position upon hire. Fingerprinting may be required also.
• Experience leading therapeutic group activities, discussions, etc.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy, Creative Arts Therapies or related fields.
• Activity professional certification.
• Experience in participant assessments and care planning.
