Job summary

Providence PACE Oregon in Hillsboro is seeking a Lead Activities Aide to plan, organize, direct, and participate in a broad program of recreational services for participants at the Hillsboro site.

Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that helps elders live active, independent lives through clinics and home visits; a background in group activities and care planning is valued, with a preferred degree in recreation therapy and an activity certification.

Qualifications

Job Description:

Plans, organizes, directs, and participates in a broad program of recreational services appropriate for the participants of Providence PACE Tanasbourne site.

Required qualifications:

• In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check may be required for this position based upon the location of the position upon hire. Fingerprinting may be required also.
• Experience leading therapeutic group activities, discussions, etc.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy, Creative Arts Therapies or related fields.
• Activity professional certification.
• Experience in participant assessments and care planning.
