The Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS) is seeking an Accountant 3 to join the Office of Financial Management on the PSERS Hybrid Plan accounting and reporting team. You will oversee investment reporting for the defined contribution program, manage year‑end forms, and support senior management with financial oversight.

You will lead an Accountant 2, coordinate with consultants, and help implement new hybrid plan processes while ensuring accurate reporting and robust controls.

Qualifikationen

• One year as an Accountant 2 (Commonwealth or equivalent).
• Three years of professional accounting experience with 15 accounting credits.
• Four years bookkeeping experience with 15 accounting credits; Master’s may substitute for one year.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review investment reports for performance and transactions.
• Verify reconciliations and analyze general ledger accounts.
• Direct and oversee an Accountant 2 and support daily operations.
• Coordinate with consultants and internal teams for hybrid plan management.
• Assist in annual 1099-R tax form analysis and production.
• Develop controls to detect misuse and monitor third‑party administration.
