Arizona Public Service Company is seeking an Accounting Consultant focused on Financial Reporting. The role develops complex financial reports, analyzes accounts and supports regulatory strategies while aligning with company objectives and policies.

This is a high‑impact advisory position serving executive management. Applicants should have a BS in accounting/finance and at least five years of experience, preferably in electric utilities.

Formación

• BA/BS in accounting, finance or related field is required or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP, FERC and ACC requirements.
• Strong analytical, research and problem solving abilities; able to communicate with executive management.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares a variety of accurate and timely financial reports including dashboards and rate case studies.
• Analyses and reconciles accounts and maintains financial reporting systems.
• Performs complex economic studies to evaluate business issues and proposals.
• Models financial activity to forecast corporate targets and scenarios.
• Supports regulatory and competitive strategies, analysis and findings.
• Contributes to development of department policies, procedures and compliance with FERC regulations.
