Cal Poly is seeking a Lead Access Specialist in the Disability Resource Center on the San Luis Obispo campus. You will independently evaluate student needs, advise on accommodations, and coordinate with faculty, staff, students, and community organizations to implement services.

The role focuses on developing accessibility approaches across organizational lines, ensuring compliance with disability laws, and supporting students with diverse disabilities in a full-time on-campus position.

Qualifikationen

• Proven counseling experience in disability management and accommodations assessment.
• Ability to maintain tact and persuasiveness with students with varied disabilities.
• Sensitive to diversity issues within a diverse campus community.
• Experience interpreting medical, psychological, and psycho-educational assessments.
• Able to analyze program processes and recommend solutions.
• Thorough knowledge of disability-related laws (e.g., ADA, Section 504).
