Job summary

Next Level Technician in Dallas, Texas seeks a Lead Low Voltage Access Control Technician to install, troubleshoot, and program security and access control systems. You’ll read blueprints, install hardware, and ensure safe operation at job sites, with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial installation experience (access control/CCTV).
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks.
• Programming experience in access control and CCTV a plus.
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus.
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots).
• Willingness to travel to Texas job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control devices.
• Install door hardware (mag locks, electric strikes, etc.).
• Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV systems.
• Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights).
