Job summary

Tetra is seeking a Lead Low Voltage Technician to drive regional access control and IP video deployments in the Dallas area. This on-site role combines leadership of small field crews with hands-on installation, programming, and commissioning of security systems.

You will coordinate with project managers and customers, interpret complex drawings, and ensure quality standards across rapidly growing deployments. A strong background in low-voltage systems is required.

Qualifications

7+ years hands-on experience in low-voltage systems installation and service.
Extensive experience with access control and IP video surveillance networks.
Strong understanding of structured cabling and networking fundamentals.
Proven ability to lead and coordinate small field installation teams.

Responsibilities

Lead installation, programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning of access control and IP-based camera systems.
Supervise two to three installation technicians on active project sites.
Maintain detailed documentation of customer contact and project progress.
Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specs to guide execution.
Mentor and develop junior field technicians through hands-on coaching.
Troubleshoot complex system infrastructure involving hardware, software, networking, and field devices.
Coordinate with project managers, customers, and on-site trades for seamless project execution.
