Job summary

Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) is seeking a part-time Program Director for the Fellowship in Academic Medicine – Clinical Education (FAME-E) to administer and lead all aspects of the program and its administration. The role emphasizes curriculum oversight, learner development, and coordination with affiliate partners to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in relevant field (e.g., MD, DO, PhD, EdD)
• Five years' experience in academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Lead FAME-E program curriculum development, review, and content creation.
• Recruit and supervise program instructors, as necessary.
• Partner with affiliate organizations to ensure the program meets customer needs.
• Support program marketing, registration, and learner selection, as needed.
• Meet regularly with the Executive Director to provide program updates and collaborate on development and administration.
• Integrate ACGME requirements in clinical education and education research dissemination.
• Lead curriculum content development as SME on evolving medical education principles.
• Coordinate all program events and learning environments, online and in-person.
• Mentor and coach program learners; promote their professional development.
• Collaborate with support team to ensure high level of customer service.
• Attend synchronous learning sessions; supervise learner assignments and progression.
• Evaluate learner submissions and final projects.
• Provide learner and curriculum development support in other programs when possible.
• Manage annual FAME-E program budget and prepare reports.
• Assess and improve curriculum based on feedback; oversee learner outcomes assessment.
• Prepare annual program review.
