Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL seeks an Operations Supervisor to provide technical leadership and oversee manufacturing activities within the Station. You will manage tools and jigs, their maintenance, repair and calibration, and act as deputy for the Business Unit Leader when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in Aviation manufacturing or manufacturing engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight to production activities and monitor progress at the Station.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance and uphold company safety culture.
• Lead the Multi-Functional team in the absence of the Business Unit Leader.
• Report progress to upper management and flag issues early with potential solutions.
• Support continuous improvement and manpower forecasting to meet delivery schedules.
