Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join the Mobile, AL team. The role leads manufacturing activities, oversees station tools and calibration, and acts as deputy for the Business Unit Leader in their absence.

Emphasis on safety, process improvement, and cross-functional leadership. Responsibilities include directing production, ensuring timely progress, coordinating with Quality and Procurement, and maintaining proper documentation for handovers.

Qualifications

• Bachelors' degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience in Aviation (Manufacturing Engineering, Assembly, Production) or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of Leadership experience in Aviation is preferred.
• Knowledge of Quality / Logistics rules in aviation manufacturing.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight to production activities and monitor progress.
• Lead in respecting OSHA rules and company safety commitments.
• Provide leadership to the Multi-Functional team in the absence of the Business Unit Leader.
• Coordinate Station activities with FAL management and other stakeholders.
• Ensure orders and material availability to guarantee progress.
