Job summary

CTIBIOTECH USA in Philadelphia seeks a Senior Laboratory Scientist to lead daily 3D bioprinting operations and tissue engineering workflows as we scale. You will supervise hands-on protocols for CTISkin models and tumor micro-tumors, ensuring precision and repeatability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in sterile, regulated mammalian cell culture, expertise with automated bioprinters or microfluidics, and strong documentation skills to maintain GxP-compliant records.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Cell Biology, Bioengineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production of standardized 3D-bioprinted human skin models and oncology micro-tumors using proprietary bio-inks.
• Manage human primary cell extraction, tissue dissociation, expansion, and banking from patient biopsies.
• Run client screening bioassays under aseptic protocol controls.
• Maintain lab records, verify GxP compliance, and mentor junior technicians.
