Job summary

GAP SOLUTIONS INC is looking for a Laboratory Technician to provide custom engineering solutions and advanced equipment maintenance at the NIH Rockville Campus. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and be skilled in various laboratory techniques.

The role involves performing laboratory procedures, operating instruments, providing technical help, and monitoring equipment maintenance. Candidates with experience in CAD and advanced functional measurements are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in General Medical and Health Services or similar field of study.
• Skilled in advanced specialized functional measurements in 3D tissue models, muscle contraction, 3D printing and 3D bioprinting, CAD design.
• Experience with CAD, image analysis, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory techniques and procedures.
• Operate laboratory machines and instruments; and prepare specimens and equipment for use.
• Provide custom engineering solutions for 3DTBL and DPI.
