Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia is seeking an Engineer Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and ensure flawless operation of all property systems, delivering exceptional guest experiences at the Arcadia hotel.

You will oversee preventative maintenance, energy management, safety compliance, and responsive guest service, while fostering a collaborative, safety-focused work environment. This role emphasizes leadership and hands-on problem solving in a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance and high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• May be required to work weekends, holidays, and be available for emergencies.
• Comply with certification requirements (Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, First Aid).
• Experience in training, supervising, and motivating staff.
• Ability to evaluate and spot check work of staff and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead property systems maintenance and repairs, ensuring guest satisfaction while controlling costs.
• Inspire, train, and schedule the engineering team; promote safety through inspections and drills.
• Implement preventative maintenance to keep guest rooms and public spaces up to standards.
• Manage energy use and budgets; promote conservation and smart purchasing.
• Respond to guestroom requests quickly; act as emergency contact for unexpected issues.
