Job summary

Shipco Transport Inc. seeks an experienced LCL Import Operations Coordinator in our CHI branch. The role requires coordinating LCL import operations, handling documentation, and working across time zones to ensure smooth cargo flows.

You will manage carrier communications, order processing, and customer inquiries with accuracy and urgency. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years in LCL imports, knowledge of load plans and cargo verification, and strong data entry and organizational skills to

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience with LCL ocean import consolidations and operations.
• Knowledge of LCL ocean import cargo receiving, load plan, stowage, and related processing.
• Proficiency in customer service and documentation (bills of lading, dock receipts, manifests).
• Experience reviewing and sending revised arrival notices and handling customs procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide outturn reports and OS & D resolution.
• Handle door delivery and customs clearance procedures.
• Execute CFS tasks if needed, including manifests and charge billing.
• Respond to customer requests regarding cargo diversion and track inbound containers.
