Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Scientist for LC-MS bioanalytical work in Thousand Oaks, CA. The role focuses on designing, validating, and implementing robust LCMS/MS methods for diverse modalities while supporting GLP preclinical and regulated clinical activities as needed.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent with pharma/biotech experience.
• Experience with LC-MS methods and regulatory bioanalysis.
• Strong background in sample preparation and LC-MS workflows.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document LCMS/MS bioanalytical experiments.
• Develop and validate bioanalytical methods for small molecules and biomolecules.
• Analyze bioanalytical data from plasma, urine, CSF, and tissues.
• Prepare samples via protein precipitation, SPE, LLE, and affinity capture.
• Maintain accurate documentation in ELN and LIMS systems.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for GLP/GCP and submissions.
• Prepare and review study reports, SOPs, and memos.
• Communicate results to discovery and development teams and present findings.
• Support QC, time management, and cross-functional communication.
• Adhere to safety, training, and site procedures.
• Assist with lab housekeeping and operational support.
