Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Scientist for LC–MS Bioanalytical work. You will design, validate, and implement LC–MS/MS methods across small molecules, proteins, and complex matrices.

The role requires collaboration with discovery and development teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Qualifications

• Doctorate, or Master’s with 2 years of relevant industrial/technical experience, or Bachelor’s with 4 years.
• Experience in CRO or pharma/biotech strongly preferred.
• Strong technical expertise in quantitative mass spectrometry on triple quadrupole (QQQ) platforms as well as HRMS.
• Experience with automation and high-throughput workflows for bioanalysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document quantitative LC–MS/MS bioanalytical experiments.
• Develop and implement fit-for-purpose bioanalytical methods with rapid turnaround.
• Perform bioanalysis in diverse matrices including plasma, urine, CSF, and tissues.
• Maintain complete, accurate documentation and ensure data integrity.
