Ritter Lumber is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Texas to support sales growth by managing customer orders and providing expert product guidance in lumber and millwork. The role emphasizes strong communication with builders, contractors, and trade professionals to fulfill project needs accurately and efficiently.

Ideal candidates bring experience in inside sales or customer service within lumber or construction, excellent multitasking, and knowledge of LBM product specs and building

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales or customer service in lumber/building materials or construction.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for walk-in, phone, and email inquiries from builders and contractors.
• Process customer orders accurately and coordinate with purchasing, inventory, and delivery teams.
• Provide guidance on lumber and millwork products, including specs and availability.
• Identify upsell opportunities and support outside sales with follow-ups and quotes.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, orders, and quotes using Bistrack.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Stay current on product offerings and building codes relevant to LBM.
