Job summary

Mighty Green Lawn Care in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Outside Sales Consultant to generate new business, evaluate client needs, and promote lawn care services to both residential and commercial clients. You will conduct in-person consultations, build relationships, and present service packages while coordinating with operations to ensure timely delivery.

A background in sales and basic agronomic knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business/marketing related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
• Ability to learn and utilize agronomic terminology and explain it to customers effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Goal-oriented with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target prospective customers through referrals, networking, and leads.
• Conduct in-person consultations to assess lawn care needs and recommend chemical treatments.
• Present and sell lawn care services and packages to residential and commercial clients.
• Build and maintain relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Follow up on leads and onboard new customers smoothly.
• Address customer questions and service needs promptly and professionally.
• Plan daily routes and appointments for efficient coverage.
• Track and report sales activities and progress toward goals.
• Acquire deep knowledge of products and services including chemical applications.
