Job summary

Fairway Green in Raleigh seeks an Outside Sales Consultant to generate new business and maintain customer relationships, promoting lawn care services to residential and commercial clients.

You will plan daily routes, conduct in-person consultations, present solutions, and work with the operations team to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. A background in sales or customer service is preferred with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
• Ability to explain agronomic terminology to customers effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target prospective customers through referrals, networking, and marketing leads.
• Conduct in-person consultations with clients to assess lawn care needs and recommend treatments.
• Present and sell lawn care services, products, and packages to residential and commercial clients.
• Build and maintain relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Follow up on leads and ensure a seamless onboarding process for new customers.
• Address customer questions and service needs promptly and professionally.
• Plan daily routes and appointments to maximize efficiency and coverage.
• Track and report sales activities, customer interactions, and progress toward goals.
• Develop a deep understanding of lawn care products and seasonal treatments.
