State of Alaska, Department of Law, Division of Criminal, seeks a Law Office Assistant 1 in Palmer to support Attorneys and Paralegals with legal document preparation, data entry, and file management. You will work with multiple agencies, help prepare hearings, and maintain confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a flexible growth path, a 37.5-hour work week, 12 paid holidays, and personal leave accrual. Overtime may be required during busy periods.

Competenze

• One year of experience involving customer service contact, information exchange for services, and standard administrative tasks.
• Substitutions: post-secondary education or equivalent experience may substitute for the required experience.
• An associate’s degree or specific vocational-technical certification in a legal support career may substitute for the required experience.

Mansioni

• Type and format legal documents; perform data entry; organize documents in electronic files.
• Communicate with outside agencies and individuals verbally and in writing to accomplish tasks.
• Provide administrative support to Attorneys and Paralegals within the Criminal Division Central Office.
