How To MANAGE a Small Law Firm is seeking an experienced Fractional Controller to guide solo law firm owners in understanding their numbers, boosting profitability, and making smarter financial decisions. You will advise a roster of about 40 clients as part of a Fractional Executive Team of CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and Controllers.

The role focuses on financial analysis, forecasting, dashboards, and cash flow, with the expectation of strong communication and the ability to explain complex numbers

Location Requirement: This is a remote position, but we can only hire candidates who reside in AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, LA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NE, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, or WV.

What You’ll Do

• Lead monthly 1:1 financial strategy calls with clients

• Coach clients toward stronger financial habits and accountability

What We’re Looking For

• Controller or senior-level accounting/finance experience
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, KPI, and dashboard experience
• Proven results improving profitability, cash flow, or expenses
• Experience managing teams or client relationships
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financials simply
• Small business or entrepreneurial experience strongly preferred
• Professional services or law firm experience is a plus

The Details

Remote | Full-Time

Some evening availability and travel required.

Compensation:

$110,000 to $145,000 total annual compensation, including base pay, roster-based earnings, additional projects, and projected bonuses.
