Job summary

Responsibilities include data entry into billing systems, opening matters, processing pre-bills and invoices, monitoring A/R and unbilled inventory, and ensuring adherence to client billing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on billing experience in a law firm.
• Experience with multiple e-billing systems is preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine data processing tasks and input relevant information into billing systems.
• Update internal systems for opening matters to ensure accurate reflection of data.
• Process transfers and edits to ensure accuracy of rates, narratives, and time/expense records.
• Prepare and distribute pre-bills and invoices to billing attorneys and clients.
• Monitor invoice status, document A/R and unbilled inventory, and follow up for timely collections.
• Identify and help resolve patterns that may affect billing and collections.
