Job summary

Spencer Fane LLP seeks an Electronic Billing Specialist to manage client invoicing and provide high-quality client service. You will coordinate with partners, staff, and clients to ensure accurate electronic billing setup, processing, and timely submission using Aderant Bill Blast.

The role requires 3+ years in AR/collections, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Aderant and related billing tools.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related area preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of AR and/or collections experience preferred.
• Electronic billing experience required.
• Prior law firm industry experience preferred.
• Experience with Aderant Bill Blast and related billing systems strongly preferred.
• Excellent computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Submit invoices through the Aderant eBilling system for client review.
• Contact clients, attorneys and assistants to obtain information needed for electronic billing setup, processing and maintenance.
• Keep electronic billing information up to date in Aderant, Bill Blast and client billing websites.
• Identify invoice rejections and implement solutions to resolve rejections.
• Submit accrual information in client billing websites or by email as requested.
