Job summary

Turo is seeking a Law Enforcement Response Specialist I to triage and process inbound law enforcement requests, ensuring lawful, timely, and well-documented cooperation while protecting user privacy. The role requires handling subpoenas and court orders, documenting actions, and coordinating across Resolver, Dunlop, Sift, and Kustomer with strict SLAs.

The position is in Phoenix on a hybrid schedule, with 3 in-office days weekly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in Operations, Trust & Safety, Law Enforcement, or similar environment.
• Working knowledge of legal process types (search warrants, grand jury subpoenas, court orders, NDOs).
• Ability to document case actions and communicate disclosure decisions under legal/time pressure.
• Excellent written communication for law enforcement correspondence and sworn declarations.
• Adapt to multiple tools (Resolver, Dunlop, Sift, Kustomer, Google Workspace, SQL, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Triage, verify, and process inbound law enforcement requests per SLA.
• Coordinate data production and disclosures under authorized matrices.
• Document case activity, chain of custody, disclosures, and closures in Resolver.
• Verify requester identity before disclosure.
• Route non-LER matters to appropriate teams.
• Escalate NDO situations and content data requests for legal review.
• Apply account actions at case closure per NDO protocol.
• Provide same-day notification to CIU Senior Manager for federal subpoenas.
