Job summary

Turo is seeking a Senior Privacy Operations Manager to join our legal team. You will own privacy operations, including DSR intake, PIA execution, and governance across GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other laws.

The role partners with engineering, security, and product teams in a hybrid office setting in Phoenix/SF/ Toronto to grow the business while reducing risk. You will design and deliver privacy training, manage records of processing activities, and oversee vendor subprocessor compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GDPR/CCPA/CPRA and PIPEDA.
• Ability to translate privacy concepts into actionable processes.
• Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage DSR intake, response, and tracking across major privacy laws.
• Lead Privacy Impact Assessments for new features and data processing activities.
• Maintain and improve record of processing activities and subprocessor registers.
• Deliver GDPR/privacy training and collaborate with vendor security teams.
